How we list pros
Listings come from the State of Florida's own licensee file, not from reviews or ratings. A page is published only when enough businesses qualify, and every list follows one published order. The file we use is dated October 17, 20261.

Where listings come from
Every listing is built from the DBPR construction licensee file. 1 DBPR says it refreshes the file weekly, and a refresh can be delayed. We show the file date on every page and link each card to the DBPR license search for current status.
We do not copy listings, ratings, reviews, photos or hours from map or review sites. Phone numbers and websites are shown only if the business supplies them to us, and none are shown now.
Who is listed
As of October 17, 2026
- The listed license is a certified license of a type mapped to the service, with a primary status of current and a secondary status of active in the DBPR file dated October 17, 20261.
- The license has not expired on the date of the file.
- The business has a business name on file. We do not list a business whose published name is only the license holder's own name, such as a bare personal name. A name that adds a business word such as LLC or Inc, or any other word that is not part of the holder's name, is listed as a business name.
- The ZIP code on file is inside the city. We list the city and ZIP as published and no street address.
- Registered licenses are not listed, because the state file does not say where a registered license applies.
Who gets a page
A listing page is published when at least 5 businesses2 qualify in the city. A page that is already published stays up while it keeps at least 3 businesses2, so a weekly renewal does not make pages come and go. Below that the page is not built.
A city hub is indexed only when the city has at least 2 pages2 for different services, because a hub with one service adds nothing the service page lacks.
How each list is ordered
- Active license status first.
- Then the oldest first-issue date among the business's listed licenses.
- Then the business name, A to Z.
Payment does not change this order. The order says nothing about quality, price or fit.
Sponsored and owned listings
A paid listing is labeled Sponsored, next to the business name. A listing owned by the parent company of FL Pro List is labeled Sponsored ยท Owned by FL Pro List's parent company, Terragroupe, LLC. Both kinds sit in their own block above the list, and a note above the list says so. Outbound links on these cards carry rel="sponsored".
No paid or owned listing is shown now. If that changes, this page changes first.
How fresh the data is
We treat data older than 14 days2 as stale and do not publish pages from it. License status can change after the date of the file, so re-check every license on DBPR before you hire, sign or pay.
Corrections and removal
Every listing has a link, "Is this your business? Correct or remove it", to the Correct or remove a listing page. If your business is listed wrongly, or you want a listing removed, send the form there. We honor removal requests from a listed business. We aim to answer within 5 business days2 of receiving a request, and to correct or remove the listing within 10 days2.
Corrections to license data are made at DBPR, because the license block is not editable by the business. We show the change after the next state file.
What we do not do
No reviews, ratings or stars. No guest posts or business-written pages. No quotes or bookings. No claim help for insurance claims. We are a directory built from public records, not a contractor.
