Claim your listing
A business owner can claim a listing to add a phone number the owner has confirmed, a photo, and a link to the business's own reviews page. Claiming costs nothing and does not change the order of the list or the license details we show from the state file. Send the request through the correction form; we aim to answer within 5 business days1.

What claiming adds
- A phone number the owner has confirmed. Until then a listing shows no phone number.
- A photo the business supplies, labeled as supplied by the business.
- A plain link to the business's own page of reviews on another site. We do not copy the ratings, counts or text from that page.
- A short list of services, in plain words.
The license number, status and dates on a card come from the state file. They are not edited by an owner, and claiming does not change the order of the list.
Find your listing
Look for your city on the Florida page, or search your license number or business name on Check a license. Copy the web address of your listing page.
Send the claim request
Use the Correct or remove a listing form. Choose Other as the request type and start the box "What is wrong, or what should change" with the words Claim listing.
Give the business name, the license number as it appears on the card, the listing address, your name and email, and the phone number you want shown. Please don't enter ID, bank or account numbers.
How we check a claim
We check that the license number matches the listing and is active in the state file we use. A claim covers every listing that shows the license number you claim. While one claim is open we do not accept another for the same license number. We refuse a request from anyone who is not the licensee or authorized to act for the business that the license serves.
Before a phone number is shown, we confirm that the person who asked controls that number. That shows control of the number, not ownership of the business. We tell you how by email, and we show only the number you confirmed.
What stays the same
This site shows no ratings or reviews today, and it does not copy them from other sites. A claim has no field for a rating, a review count or review text.
Claiming is not featured placement. Featured placement is paid advertising, it is not open yet, and it is labeled whenever it is shown.
